Timothy A. Smith, DDS, is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to his neighbors in Purcellville and the surrounding community.
Dr. Smith graduated cum laude in 1993 with his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, after earning his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from James Madison University. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Smith obtained an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate during his six years of service as a dental officer in the United States Air Force. He is a member of the American Dental Implant Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and DOCS Education (Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation).
Dr. Smith has taken numerous postgraduate education courses and is a graduate of the Misch Institute’s implant dentistry course, the Implant Seminars Continuum, and the University of Alabama IV sedation program. He is licensed by the state of Virginia to provide IV conscious/moderate sedation. His dedication to high-level continuing education has also led him to join the Faculty Club of the Spear Institute for Continuing Education. Most recently, he has undergone training in a new generation of hybrid dentures for patients with missing teeth. Dr. Smith and his wife Tosca are proud of their two grown sons, and in his spare time, he enjoys family, friends, travel, the outdoors, and CrossFit workouts and competitions.
